Integrated Chiropractic is anticipating 2012, and it’s all because of you. The past year has been eventful and rewarding, overflowing with opportunities and ripe with adventure.

Back in April, more than 120 patients stopped by the office for the first annual Patient Appreciation Day. July marked the beginning of extended office hours and in August, the Silverdale Chamber of Commerce named Integrated Chiropractic Business of the Month. In October, the Kitsap Peninsula Business Journal selected Dr. Joseph from more than 100 nominees to win the prestigious 40 Under Forty award and Integrated Chiropractic was a finalist in the “Best of CK,” where readers vote for their local favorites in the Central Kitsap Reporter.

Starting this month, Dr. Joseph will be available to help his patients live better lives, five days a week. Nine-month-old Integrated Chiropractic, a comprehensive Chiropractic clinic in Silverdale, WA is growing again.  In the past six weeks, Dr. Joseph has treated 19 new patients and he is anticipating more.

“To maintain the level of service and expertise our patients expect, it’s an ideal time to expand office hours. During the summer months, schedules are more fluid and it’s important we remain accessible to our patients,” Dr. Joseph said. 

The new office hours begin July 1st and include Monday, Wednesday and
Friday, 8AM-6PM and Tuesday and Thursday 2PM-6PM.

benefitted from a delectable spread of croissants, wraps, fruit, beverages and free care. "It's a wonderful oppurtunity to work in Kitsap County," said Dr. Joseph. "The culture and the enviroment are inspiring."

The day also marked the official grand opening and ribbon cutting of five-month-old Integrated Chiropractic. The event was officiated by Angela Sell, President of the Silverdale Chamber of Commerce and Kathleen Knuckey, Executive Director. “It’s exciting to see how much we’ve grown in such a short time. I am anticipating good things here in Silverdale,” said Dr. Joseph.

With more than eight years of experience behind him, Dr. Sean Joseph, 34, sets up shop in Silverdale and brings brightly-colored strips of tape with him.

“It’s a process using a special tape and unique application that either facilitates or inhibits muscle function,” said Dr. Joseph. “It provides an immediate postural benefit and helps relieve pain.”

The technique is gaining in popularity and is frequently seen on professional and amateur athletes.

Dr. Sean Joseph is the only Chiropractor West of the Puget Sound who is a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner but taping is only part of Dr. Joseph’s practice. Patients may seek him out for relief of musculoskeletal and neurological pain—but they stay for much more.

“He truly listens to what I have to say and then works with me to create a plan to manage my low back pain flare-ups,” said four-year patient and Licensed Massage Therapist Carrie Kimsey. “He has taught me the changes to make in my day-to-day activities that have helped to dramatically reduce the number of flare-ups I get every year.”

New to Washington, Dr. Joseph relocated from the Chicago area and hopes his treatment philosophy will help new patients succeed in health.

Chicago, Illinois is known for its deep dish pizza and hot-air-blowing politicians—hence the “Windy City” moniker, but it could just as easily be known for its encompassing brand of Chiropractic.

For eight years I ran a multidisciplinary clinic in a suburb of Chicago, where I managed multiple massage therapists, a physical therapist and a PT assistant. We worked in conjunction with a medical doctor, orthopedic surgeon, neuologist, anesthesiologist and some extraordinary personal trainers who were all on site. 

This was a great benefit to patients who appreciated the ease of care and communication between doctors and therapists.

As a Chiropractic Physician and Acupuncturist, I had the unique opportunity of treating Chiropractic patients with adjustments and acupuncture/acupressure but was also able to combine my PT knowledge and offer corrective exercises, postural strengthening and “functional rehab” which are necessary and natural components to Chiropractic adjustments.

· I spent eight years working directly with other Chiropractic Physicians, Medical Doctors, an Orthopedic Surgeon, a Neurologist, an Anesthesiologist and Physical Therapists.

· I was on staff at a hospital as an Allied Health Professional, St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates.

· Even my brother and sister-in-law are Chiropractors!

I’m not saying I’m better—but I am saying my background is more diverse. I’m not like the Chiropractors you’re used to.
